Leaving bare wood outdoors without primer wastes your work: the topcoat adheres less well and soaks in unevenly. Get the primer coat nice and flat, and you will not need to correct anything in the topcoat.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003ch2\u003eApplication\u003c\/h2\u003e\u003ch3\u003ePreparation\u003c\/h3\u003e\u003cp\u003eRemove loose paint coats. Clean old intact paint coats with Engels Degreaser, sand thoroughly and remove dust. Clean bare wood, prime, sand and remove dust. Lightly sand between coats with grit P180 to P220.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003ch3\u003eApplying\u003c\/h3\u003e\u003cp\u003eStir well and preferably apply undiluted, by brush or roller. Thin with white spirit if desired; clean tools with white spirit.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003ch2\u003eDrying times and coverage\u003c\/h2\u003e\u003cp\u003eDust-dry after approximately 2 hours, tack-free after 4 hours and recoatable after 18 hours. Allow 10 to 12 m² per litre. If you are in a hurry, look at the fast primer: it is dust-dry after half an hour.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003ch2\u003eColour and packaging\u003c\/h2\u003e\u003cp\u003eMatt, available in 0.5, 1 and 2.5 litre, in white and in all colours of the CMS tinting system.
