Satin is the most popular sheen indoors: the light reflects more softly than with high gloss, so imperfections are less noticeable.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003ch2\u003ePlease note for light colours indoors\u003c\/h2\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe product information sheet carries an explicit warning: light colours may yellow when used indoors. This is characteristic of alkyd resin and is not a product defect. If you want white or a light shade indoors, ask us for advice on a water-based alternative.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003ch2\u003eApplication\u003c\/h2\u003e\u003ch3\u003ePreparation\u003c\/h3\u003e\u003cp\u003eClean the surface with the Engels degreaser spray, remove unsound paint coats, sand and remove dust. Always prime bare wood first with Engels primer.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003ch3\u003eApplying\u003c\/h3\u003e\u003cp\u003eBy brush or roller, after stirring well. Thin with white spirit, clean tools immediately with white spirit. Lightly sand between coats.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003ch2\u003eDrying times and coverage\u003c\/h2\u003e\u003cp\u003eDust-dry after approximately 2 hours, tack-free after 6 hours and recoatable after 18 hours.
