Wood fillers

Fill a small hole, a crack or a broken-off corner in the wood first, otherwise it will show through the paint. We stock Beissier Aguaplast wood fillers in eleven wood colours, 125 ml each.

Which colour should you choose?

Choose the colour closest to your wood: oak, dark oak, beech, pine, cherry, mahogany, meranti, teak, walnut, wenge or neutral white. Neutral white is the choice if you are going to paint over the work with an opaque finish anyway.

Wood filler or general filler?

A wood filler is intended for wood and keeps the wood structure visible, so the repair does not stand out under a transparent finish. If you are going to paint the work with an opaque finish anyway, the colour matters less. For larger holes and structural repairs, see the epoxy fillers; for walls, the wall filler.

Filling is done before priming. Let the filler cure, sand it flat and then prime with primer before the topcoat goes on.
