Decorator's caulk for joints and gaps that will be painted afterwards: skirting boards, window frame joints and cornices. Five types, each with its own reason to choose it.

Which sealant should you choose?

Ordinary interior work

Den Braven Zwaluw Acryl-W is the standard sealant: easy to apply, smooth off and paint over.

If you do not want to wait

With Zwaluw Wet on Wet you paint wet-on-wet over the sealant, so caulking and painting in the same pass. Soudal Acryrub CF2 can be painted over ten minutes after application.

If the joint keeps cracking

Zwaluw Anti-Crack is designed to prevent cracking and discolouration in the paint finish.

Exterior work

For outdoors there is Zwaluw Acryl Exterior, which is rainproof shortly after application.

Movement in the joint

Acrylic sealant is intended for joints with limited movement. If the joint moves more, you need an elastic sealant.
