Alabastine Wood Rot Repair Kit 500 g

Complete kit from Alabastine for repairing wood rot: Wood Rot Impregnator (Houtrotimpregneer) to strengthen affected wood and two-component Wood Rot Filler (Houtrotvuller) to fill it.

What you use it for

Durable repair of wood rot on window frames, doors, thresholds and garden sheds, indoors and outdoors. The impregnator penetrates deeply and makes affected wood hard again. The filler is dimensionally stable, does not shrink, stays flexible and, once cured, can be sanded and holds screws and nails and can be drilled.

Application

Remove pulverised wood as thoroughly as possible. Pour the impregnator into a glass or metal dish and apply it generously with a brush until the wood is saturated. After drying for approx. 6 hours, fill with the Wood Rot Filler: always mix component 1 and 2 1:1 until an even colour, do not mix more than you can use in 20 minutes. After 6 hours (20 °C) it can be planed, sanded and painted with all types of (primer) paint or opaque wood stain.
