Alabastine Wood Rot Filler 2K
Two-component wood rot filler from Alabastine for durable repair of rotten wood. Once cured, the repair has the properties of wood and stays flexible.
What you use it for
Wood rot, cracks, damage and broken-off corners on window frames, doors and furniture, indoors and outdoors. Also for fitting hinges, fittings, bolts and nuts. Dimensionally stable and does not sag, does not shrink, can be sanded perfectly, holds screws and nails and can be drilled, and is insensitive to moisture. Horizontally a maximum of 5 cm per layer, vertically a maximum of 2 cm.
Application
Remove rotten wood and loose parts as thoroughly as possible; first strengthen affected wood with Alabastine Wood Rot Impregnator (Houtrotimpregneer). Always mix component 1 and 2 1:1 with a filling knife until an even colour and do not mix more than you can use in 20 minutes. A mould with cling film works well for corners. After 6 hours (20 °C) it can be planed, sanded and painted with all types of (primer) paint or wood stain. Clean tools immediately with warm water and kitchen paper. Do not apply below 10 °C.
