Presto polyester body filler 2K (Füllspachtel), 1950 g with hardener
A two-component polyester body filler (Füllspachtel) from Presto (MOTIP DUPLI) for filling holes and irregularities in metal, wood and concrete. After about 20 to 30 minutes you can sand and overpaint it.
What you use it for
Repairs to bodywork parts and other metal surfaces, restoration of wood and concrete such as stair treads, and setting plugs and screws. Rust holes smaller than 12 mm are first filled with Presto fibreglass filler; larger rust-through damage is repaired with the Presto repair kit.
Application
The substrate must be rust-free, clean, dry, grease-free and sanded. Mix the filler with 2 to 4% hardener (ideally 2.5%). The working time at 20 °C is about 4 to 5 minutes; apply from 12 °C. Do not put mixed material back in the tin. After 20 to 30 minutes you can drill, sand, saw, file, prime and paint. Clean tools immediately, if necessary with nitro thinner.
Properties
Once cured, resistant to weak acids and alkalis, solvents, water and road salt, and to temperatures up to 120 °C. Suitable for stoving enamel. Free of asbestos and silicones.
