Sigma Amarol Primer is an exterior primer based on alkyd resin, for priming and re-priming façade joinery. Can also be used to re-prime steel and non-ferrous metals that already have a suitable primer system.
Properties
Weatherproof: one coat can be left exposed for up to a year. Moisture-regulating, good adhesion, high opacity and good edge coverage. Can be applied from 5 °C to 30 °C. Eggshell sheen.
Application
By brush or paint roller, if desired 0 to 2% ProGold Aromatic-free Paint Thinner. Dust-dry after approx. 2.5 hours and recoatable after approx. 16 hours (23 °C/50% RH). Theoretical coverage 16 m² per litre at 40 µm. Sigma recommends topcoating with Sigma Schakelverf Semi-Gloss.
