Sigma Multiprimer Rapid is a quick-drying exterior adhesion primer based on modified alkyd resin, for steel, wood and various plastics. Intended for work where several coats are needed in one day, such as touching up existing paint layers, rebates and wall edges. Also on existing, intact and sanded paint layers.
Properties
Good adhesion on steel, plastic and wood, long open time and good edge coverage. Suitable for corrosion category C2 (NEN-EN-ISO 12944-2).
Application
Ready to use, by brush or paint roller. Dust-dry after approx. 30 minutes, recoatable after approx. 2 hours (23 °C/50% RH). Overpaint within 24 hours with an alkyd-based Sigma paint. Coverage 13 m² per litre at 35 µm. On plastic, do a test patch first.
