Sigma S2U Nova Primer is a water-based interior primer based on polyurethane-acrylate with hybrid technology. For wood, various plastics, steel and non-ferrous metals (with a suitable primer system) and existing intact paint layers.
Properties
Isolates well on woods with water-soluble extractives (Stain Blocking Technology). Good coverage, flow and adhesion. Low odour and non-flammable. Meets the Dutch substitution requirement for solvent-based products.
Application
By brush or paint roller; thinning is not necessary, if desired at most 5% tap water. Dust-dry after approx. 1 hour, recoatable after approx. 4 hours (23 °C/50% RH), so several coats in one day. Theoretical coverage 14 m² per litre at 30 µm. Clean tools with lukewarm water immediately after use.
