Sigma WoodProtect Solid Satin is a water-based opaque wood stain for exterior use, for woodwork that is not or only partly dimensionally stable, such as shiplap boarding and façade timberwork. Based on alkyd emulsion-acrylic dispersion, modified with polyurethane.
Properties
Very durable, highly vapour-permeable and impregnates untreated wood well. Very good coverage and long-lasting colour retention. Maintenance cycle up to 8 years. Satin.
Application
At 23 °C dust-dry after approx. 1 hour and recoatable after approx. 4 hours. Theoretical coverage 10 m² per litre at 35 µm dry film thickness.
