Südwest Acryl All-Grund water-based adhesion primer

Südwest Acryl All-Grund is the water-based version of the universal adhesion primer: very quick-drying, anti-rust and recoatable with single- and two-component products. Matt finish, easy to sand, heat-resistant up to 100 °C and resistant to alkalinity.

What you use it for

Indoors and outdoors as a primer for wood, rust inhibitor on iron and steel and adhesion primer on galvanised steel, (anodised) aluminium, stainless steel, copper, brass, PVC, polyester, melamine, glazed tiles and old paint layers. It does not bond to PE and PP. Outdoors always finish immediately after drying; on steel at least two coats.

Application

By brush, roller or spray; thin by at most 5% with water. Do not apply below 10 °C or in full sun. Dust-dry after 15 to 30 minutes, sandable after approximately 4 hours. Recoatable with water-based paint after 4 hours, with solvent-based single- and two-component products after 24 hours (20 °C). Clean tools immediately with water. Consumption approximately 9 m² per litre.
